Design systems help teams move faster with more confidence.
We build flexible, intuitive systems that unify brand, product, and interaction into one clear, reusable foundation.
ANML is a design systems agency based in San Jose, California. Since 2012 we have designed systems for B2B SaaS, enterprise, and consumer products, and because we also design the brand and the website, the system connects marketing and product instead of stopping at the UI kit. We deliver it as a Figma library with token architecture, documentation, and engineering-ready specifications.
That work includes the enterprise platform design system and UI components for Swrve, the scalable system behind the OrthoFX Doctor Portal, a theme-able light and dark system for Palo Alto Networks, the design system and brand guidelines for the Salesloft relaunch, the KitchenAid cooking app's design system, and a foundational system for RealScout that their own team now uses across the site, sales collateral, and campaigns.
We design and deliver modern design systems that work across teams, platforms, and product surfaces.
Component libraries and interaction patterns
Visual identity systems for digital products
Token architecture for color, type, spacing, and state
Guidelines, documentation, and usage rules
Accessibility and responsive behavior standards
Engineering-ready component specifications
We design systems that work in the real world.
Our work starts by understanding your product surface areas, engineering requirements, and team structures.
We build systems that are easy to maintain, simple to use, and flexible enough to support long-term growth.
We partner directly with design, engineering, and product teams so the system integrates cleanly into existing workflows and ships as a tool people actually adopt.
A strong design system accelerates everything.
Teams align faster. Products become more consistent. Design and development move with clarity instead of guesswork.
Systems pay for themselves in speed, cohesion, and long-term design quality.
“ANML helped us build a modern homepage and a solid design system that our own team can use without hand-holding,” says Andrew Flachner, CEO of RealScout. “That system now shows up everywhere: on the site, in sales collateral, in marketing campaigns, and in the decks we use with customers and investors.”
Component libraries that reduce design and development time
Unified visual systems that modernize outdated products
Scalable foundations used across multiple teams and product surfaces
Systems that bring consistency to complex products and evolving roadmaps
Swrve: the enterprise platform design system and UI components for Swrve's marketing analytics dashboard, built to reduce complexity for the brands that run campaigns on it.
OrthoFX Doctor Portal: a scalable design system with handoff support for the portal orthodontists use to manage patients and cases.
Palo Alto Networks: a theme-able design system that switches between light and dark modes and can support an unlimited number of themes.
Salesloft: the design system and brand guidelines behind the Salesloft brand and website relaunch.
RealScout: a foundational design system that unified color, type, layout, and UI patterns, now used by RealScout's own team across the site, sales collateral, and marketing campaigns.
KitchenAid: the design system for KitchenAid's cooking app, from text to timers, with a simple model for developer handoff.
ANML also delivered design system and handoff support for Nokē's multi-site access control platform and, from 2012 to 2023, Yummly's Pasta design system.
Yes. We create scalable, engineering-ready systems tailored to your product, team, and technology stack.
Absolutely. We often refine, expand, or reorganize systems that have become inconsistent, outdated, or difficult to maintain.
Yes. We deliver guidelines for components, tokens, accessibility, responsive behavior, and usage rules, all packaged for easy adoption.
Yes. We collaborate closely with engineering to ensure everything maps cleanly to your codebase, whether that is React, Vue, Angular, Flutter, or native.
We help define governance, contribution models, and workflows so teams can maintain quality and consistency long after launch.
Ask to see a system that shipped and who uses it today: the test of a design system is adoption, not the handover file. Check that the agency defines token architecture for color, type, spacing, and state, documents usage rules and accessibility standards, maps components to your engineering framework, and sets up governance and a contribution model so the system holds together after launch. If the system has to cover a marketing site and a product, choose a team that has designed both.
ANML's RealScout, Swrve, and OrthoFX Portal case studies show each of those.
